Describe the Amazon image type
"Pure white background for MAIN image", "lifestyle in-use for secondary images", "detail shot" — tell the AI what type of Amazon listing image you need.

Test which image drives more sales
Amazon allows split-testing listing images via Amazon Manage Your Experiments (brand-registered sellers). Or run the experiment on your DTC store with MidaGX.
Amazon listings that use all 7 available image slots consistently outperform listings with fewer images. Here are the image types Amazon allows — and how to generate each with AI.
Amazon requires a pure white background for the main product image. Generate a compliant MAIN image from any photo. Product must fill at least 85% of the image.
Try: "Pure white background, Amazon MAIN image, product centred and fills 85% of frame"
Secondary images can show the product in use. Lifestyle images help shoppers visualise owning and using the product, reducing purchase hesitation and return rates.
Try: "Product in use in a realistic home setting, bright natural light"
Show key features, materials, or texture in close-up. Detail shots reduce customer questions, lower return rates, and build purchase confidence on Amazon.
Try: "Close-up detail shot of product surface and texture, white neutral background"
Size confusion is one of the top reasons for Amazon returns. Generate images showing the product with a recognisable scale reference to set accurate size expectations.
Try: "Product next to a hand for scale reference, clean background"
Amazon A+ content (enhanced brand content) allows premium lifestyle and feature images for brand-registered sellers. Better A+ content increases conversions by 3–10% on average.
Try: "Premium lifestyle image for A+ content, product featured in elegant setting"
Amazon Sponsored Product and Sponsored Brand ads perform better with lifestyle images that show context and benefit — not just the product on a white background.
Try: "Eye-catching lifestyle shot for Amazon sponsored ad, product in aspirational context"
The Amazon MAIN image must: have a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), show the product filling at least 85% of the image frame, be a minimum of 1000 x 1000 pixels (1600 x 1600px recommended for zoom), and be a JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or GIF. No text, logos, watermarks, or borders are allowed on the MAIN image. Secondary images (up to 6) can show lifestyle settings, infographics, and feature callouts.
Upload your product photo and use the prompt: "Place on a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), Amazon MAIN image compliant, product centred and fills 85% of the image." The AI will isolate the product and place it on a clean white background. Download the result and verify it meets Amazon's requirements before uploading to Seller Central.
Yes. While the MAIN image must be white background, lifestyle secondary images consistently improve Amazon conversion rates — especially for products where shoppers need to visualise usage or scale. Amazon's own A/B testing data shows that listings with lifestyle images in positions 2–4 outperform white-background-only listings in most categories. Generate lifestyle variants with AI and use Amazon's Manage Your Experiments tool to test which configuration drives the most sales.
Amazon allows up to 7 images (1 MAIN + 6 secondary). Data from Amazon seller communities consistently shows that listings using all 7 image slots outperform those with fewer images. A recommended slot allocation: MAIN (white background), lifestyle in-use shot, detail/texture shot, scale reference, feature callout or packaging shot, A+ lifestyle or comparison image, and a final contextual/benefit image.
Yes, as long as the images accurately represent the product. Amazon's policies prohibit misleading images — the AI must generate the same product shown in a different setting or background, not a different product. This tool is designed specifically for that purpose: it changes the background, setting, lighting, and context while keeping the product visually identical to your original photo.
